Oprah Bids Farewell To Dr. Oz
After 5 years and 55 shows Oprah bid farewell to Dr. Oz in today’s show entitled “The Dr. Oz Finale”. It was bittersweet to see him go, but Oprah assures that he will be back on the show from time to time. In fact, we will actually have the opportunity to see Dr. Oz five days a week as he hosts his very own television show called “The Dr. Oz Show”. The first episode is set to air Monday September 14, 2009. Visit Oprah.com to find out where you can see the Dr. Oz show in your area.
The highlight of today’s show was when Oprah featured two people who lost a significant amount of weight after being inspired by Dr. Oz when he appeared on the shop.

The first gentleman who was featured shared his weight loss story; he simply changed his eating habits. At the advice of Dr. Oz he stopped eating all processed foods and tried only to eat one-ingredient foods. For example:
For Breakfast he would have:
- Oatmeal with Blueberries and
- Smart Balance peanut butter
The protein in this combination would keep him full until having a small snack prior to lunch.
For lunch he would eat a Colorful salad with olive oil and vinegar rather than salad dressing.
For years I have said that there are three types of foods one should never eat:
- Foods that are processed
- Foods that have ingredients that you do not know or that cannot be pronounced
- Do not have an expiration date
The second guest was Kim who lost 164 pounds after she was “scared skinny” by something Dr. Oz said: Once a person reaches 400 lbs they have very little chance of losing weight. At 332 lbs. Kim had a wake up call. She began to walk 30 minutes a day rain or shine, and would then have to ice her feet after wards to reduce the swelling.
Dr. oz is also credited with introducing the public to both the Acai Berry Cheap Alli Online Diet and the anti-aging and weight loss properties of Resveratrol.
We at Diets2try.com look forward to what Dr. Oz has in store for us in his own show, starting this fall.
